“I had a really lovely dinner at Ichnusa in Malá Strana. I was looking for a good Italian seafood place in Prague and this turned out to be a great choice. I started with the "Gran Crudo Ichnusa", their seafood platter, and it was probably my favourite part of the evening. The raw prawns were excellent, and I had a very nice fruity Vermentino with them — the combination worked beautifully. I also tried some small Italian oysters that I had never seen before. They were small, sweet and really meaty, and honestly I preferred them to the larger French oysters I’ve had before. That was a nice surprise. The octopus salad was also very good, as was the seafood pasta. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, without being overly complicated. I really liked the atmosphere too. It’s a small, intimate place in Malá Strana, and the owners were extremely kind and welcoming. The wine list is another highlight, especially if you like Italian wines — there are quite a few Sardinian bottles that you don’t often find elsewhere in Prague. For me, Ichnusa is definitely one of the places I would recommend if you are looking for a good seafood restaurant in Prague, especially if you enjoy fresh seafood and oysters, fresh fish and Italian/Sardinian cuisine. “What a wonderful hidden gem in Malá Strana! ❤️ We had the seafood linguine and they were absolutely delicious — loaded with mussels, clams, calamari, prawns and scallops. The seafood was fresh, generous and full of flavour, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Definitely one of the best seafood pasta dishes I’ve had in Prague. Ichnusa Botega & Bistro is a beautiful Sardinian Italian restaurant and a fantastic choice if you are looking for an Italian seafood restaurant or a great fish restaurant in Prague. The fresh fish and seafood really stand out, while the intimate and romantic atmosphere makes it perfect for a special dinner in Malá Strana (Lesser Town). Another highlight is the wonderful wine list, with an amazing selection of Sardinian wines that are extremely difficult to find in other restaurants in Prague. A real treat for anyone who loves Italian wine and Sardinian cuisine. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. We will definitely come back again. A true little gem and, in my opinion, one of the best places in Prague for seafood, fresh fish and authentic Sardinian Italian cuisine. ❤️”
